Democratic Party County Conventions Vote to Support MAID
Over the weekend of April 22, the Democratic Party county conventions in Orange, Ashe, Alleghany and Watauga counties approved resolutions calling for the General Assembly to adopt MAID legislation. These resolutions will be forwarded to the State Party Convention for consideration. Given the widespread support for MAID in NC, let's hope the State Party convention votes its approval as well.
